The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) will hold an open house style public meeting to discuss and receive public input on the above project. The open house will be informal, with one-on-one discussion with SDDOT and Consultant design staff.

A prerecorded presentation will be uploaded to the project website(www.i229exit6.com) on Tuesday March 12 and will be played on a loop during the public open house. SDDOT and Consultant design staff will be available with displays to discuss the proposed project and answer questions. During this time, participants will also have the opportunity to present written comments.

Written comments will be accepted until April 15, 2024, and may be submitted at the open house, through the website, or directly to one of the project contacts.

Individuals needing assistance, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), should contact the SDDOT ADA Coordinator (605-773-3540) two business days prior to the meeting in order to ensure accommodations are available. For any in-person meeting, notice is further given to individuals with disabilities that the meeting is being held in a physically accessible location.
